My 2010 Spring/Summer Shopping Bag

As Spring arrives, it's time to organize my closet (and you can bet it's really a mess by now), take what I won't be use any time soon and prepare room for the new season stuff. Here are the trends I want to search for in stores:

Colors:
Pastels

Aqua Blue

Orange red

Pink/lavender

Styles:

Grunge

Tribal

Sailor

Soft/Lolita

Materials/Pieces/Etc.:

Sheer/Transparency
Suede

Cut-outs

Flowery/Geometric patterns (especially in pants)

Leather
Jumpsuits

Feathers

Here are some inspiration looks:

As for shoes, I'm completely lost! I hated most of the stuff presented in the fashion shows... I guess I would be wearing bare foot! Haha, let's see what I find!

I'm really looking forward to wear new stuff... So far, I've grabbed some pocahontas camel fringed suede boots. Let's see what I'll get in my shopping!

Note for myself: NOOOOO Black or grey!!! My closet already has loads of that... It's time to give other colors a chance... ;)

New Male Model - Loammi Goetghebeur

19 year old belgian, sea blue eyed stunner, Loammi is here to rock your world! Just check his gorgeous features, delicately sculpted, his 1,84 m and impressive posing skills. Wanna hear something funny? He was scouted on Facebook by IMM Bruxelles scouter. Yeah, the social net! He's also with Major in Paris and Elite in Milan. Looking forward for more!

Daria Werbowy - Vogue Paris April 2010 ph. David Sims

If you ask me the directions, I'll tell you: light, soberness and a good makeup! That should do it. Oh, and had a splendid supermodel to the equation. If the world is ready, they'll take it and wonder... Oh, yeah, don't make sense at all, baby!

Lily Donaldson - Vogue Nippon May 2010 Preview

Seems like this little Grace Kelly is working again! This cover may not be a fav, but it sure is spring-like!

Nerdie look

Sometimes I feel like going intellectual... those days... I wear glasses... Haha, just kidding... My world is a big cup, full of warm chocolate... I just taste it slightly, swig by swig, allowing it to last my lifetime... See, I told you I was going intellectual! :P

Sorry for the quality of the pics... I know I look like a giant toad or something, and my skin had a nasty behaviour... Anyways...

Waistcoat: Pull & Bear

My Fav 2010 F/W Womenswear Collections

After a loooooooooong thinking, I've come up with this list of 10 fav collections and 5 honourable mentions!

10 Favorite Collections
:

10º Giambattista Valli / Stella McCartney / Gucci: All these 3 collections were, at their own way, noteworthy.

Preen: There's something about this collection, probably the cuts and the colors, and also the hair and natural makeup.

Alexander Wang: The cuts and shapes, and the online broadcast, made this show gorgeous. The vibe was dark and sexy.

Viktor & Rolf: These two really know how to put on a show. Nevertheless, their clothes were still amazing, despise the more wearable tune.

Balenciaga: If aliens came here, they would totally wear this! I'm biased, I looove Astronomy!

Givenchy: There was something about the Russian/Eastern patterns that really scream gothic-bo-ho!

Rue du Mail: Loved the cuts and materials sooo much!

Haider Ackermann: The ruffles and cuts of this master design were very impressive!

Gareth Pugh: Gothic black all the way! I just loved the silhouettes!

Alexander McQueen: Obviously, my number one! And not just because it was his last collection (cry)! Even if it were only 16 outfits, they were the most AMAZING from this season. The fabrics, the tailoring, the baroque and romantic vibe, the patterns, it was all perfect... OMG... Why can't we see anything like this anymore?!

5 Honourable Mentions:

Susanna Cornet:
The ethereal designs and tones really caught my eye.

Pedro Lourenço
: Teen sensation from Brazil, Pedro managed to leave me impressed!

No.21 By Alessandro Dell' Acqua: New brand for this amazing designer! Simple, but working it!

Manish Anora: For the delicious use of beads and color!!! That truly made my day!

Rodarte: The two sisters gave us a light and patchwork collection, that truly brought something new!
