Panache Lingerie main line has a lot of romantic and feminine options
(have you seen my review of the gorgeous Andorra bluebell already?!),
and Olivia has recently stole my heart,
after I tried the gorgeous cobalt, the upcoming autumn/fall 2016 colorway!
(I have pictures of me wearing it as well as other AW novelties here!)
I couldn't help myself to order the gorgeous deep jade version in 30F, from the AW2015 collection!
Olivia also exists in apricot (SS2015) and the current raspberry (SS2016)!
Right after the jump you can find all the pictures and details of this beauty!
Keep up with me!
Olivia is a unpadded balconnet full-cup hybrid, with a three part construction!
It is made of a semi-stretchable thin material at the bottom of the cup,
and a stretchable panel at the top, in order to accommodate different bra shapes!
The straps are fully adjustable and the band clasps with 2 rows of 3 columns of hooks-and-eyes,
in a U shape back!
The richness of the jade satiny fabric would be enough to make Olivia a beauty...
but Panache went even further by having a romantic flower pattern at the top panel,
and dotting at the rest of the cups and straps!
The only existing bow at Olivia is delicate and thin, and is located at the center gore!
The cups are dotted and the lace trimming at the top of them has a lovely flower patterned to it!
I don't own Olivia high-waisted panties, but they're amazingly gorgeous,
and look really great on!
Olivia, like many Panache bras, only starts at 30 band,
so I picked my second best fitting sizing at UK brands: 30F, instead of 28FF.
The band has a length of 61 cm (24 inches), and it's quite stretchy,
so I've felt the need to clasp it at the second (or the last one sometimes!) hook right away!
The cups offers a nice projection, with a cup depth of 23,5 cm (9,3 inches),
though I could use a bit more of immediate projection, especially at my left size!
As a result, I experience a natural and rounded shape at my right breast,
and a slightly pointier, almost torpedo shape, at the left one.
I believe that's due to different fabric stretchiness!
To minimize those shape differences,
I decided to bend the wires like All is Fair in Love and Lingerie explains here,
therefore increasing the bottom and overall cup depth!
It helped, but it didn't produce a miracle, obviously!
(If you can think of more ways to correct this minor defect, I'm all ears!)
I also don't get full gore tacking, a bra fitting error I rarely experiment.
On the bright side, the wires are surprisingly narrow,
considering Olivia has a cup width of 13,2 cm (5,2 inches),
which is more than welcome for my narrow roots!
The major sell-point of Olivia, for me, is how comfortable it feels!
The materials are incredibly soft, and the bra feels as light as a feather!
Because of that, however, heavier and softer breasts might not feel as much support as they'd like to,
so keep that in mind!
Olivia is not a bra I'd pick to run to catch the subway!
If you're looking for a soft and comfortable full cup, Olivia is a nice bet!
It allows for projection
and the stretchable top panel helps to make it suitable for both FoT and FoB breasts,
as well as to accommodate different roots heights!
Olivia is available in sizes:
Do you like feminine bras like these?
Do you own any Olivia? If so, in which colorway?
Have a lovely week!
